TeamSite classes are taught on the most recent major release of software available.

Will I have Internet access to check my e-mail during class?
Some classrooms provide Internet access to check your e-mail.

Will I have to share a PC?
We attempt to schedule classes so that every student has the opportunity to have "hands-on" training and may work each lab independently.

Where can I find the class prerequisites and course descriptions?
The course descriptions are available in the registration system. To access the registration system, click here now and click on a specific course for its course description.

Can I get an agenda or list of topics for a class?
If you would like more information than is provided in the course description, send an e-mail message to training@interwoven.com.

Are the prerequisites really required?
Prerequisites are listed to ensure that you are prepared for the level of material in the course you are taking so that your training experience is productive and beneficial.

Does it matter in which order I take the classes?
Using TeamSite is a foundation class and a pre-requisite for all other Interwoven classes. We recommend that our core classes be taken in series to promote understanding and optimize the learning experience. Alternatively, classes can be selected "a la carte" and taken in any order.

How do I get to the training locations?
Directions and hotel information are available upon request.

What is the dress code?
The dress code is casual and comfortable clothes.

What are the class hours?
Class hours are generally from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Check your confirmation letter for any variations.

Will the class get out early on the last day?
Classes generally do not end early.

May I purchase a training manual, and is it available before class?
We do not sell training manuals, they are distributed on the first day of class.

Most classes offered by Interwoven Learning Services can be delivered onsite, at your premises. Classes are designed for a maximum of 12 students per class and run a full 8 hours—typically from 9:00 to 5:00, although the hours can be adjusted to suit your requirements.

Go online to begin your request for onsite training delivery. Choose "Onsite Training Request" from the drop-down course menu and click Continue. You'll be prompted to sign in and then asked to complete a short profile and request survey. We'll get back to you promptly to follow up on your request, provide a quote for the requested education services, and confirm your training dates.

What courses are available for onsite training delivery?
Most of our courses are available for onsite training delivery. However, there are hardware, software and classroom requirements that must be met in order to ensure an effective learning experience.

Are there additional classroom requirements beyond the computer equipment?
Yes. To ensure the very best training delivery possible we also require the following:

  • A projector with VGA adapter
  • White board (preferred) and/or flip chart are also required

Scheduling & Payment Arrangements:

When should onsite training be scheduled?
We recommend that onsite training be scheduled with a minimum of 3-4 weeks notice. On occasion and where instructor availability permits, we may be able to schedule training with less lead time... just ask!

When are the training dates confirmed?
The training delivery dates will be confirmed once payment arrangements have been finalized. Interwoven Education Services accepts all standard forms of payment: company purchase order, and check or credit card as well as pre-paid Education Units.

What if we need to cancel or reschedule our onsite training for some reason?
Please notify Interwoven Education Services (training@interwoven.com or 408-953-7142) as soon as you know you will need to cancel and/or reschedule your onsite training class(es). We regret that cancellation fees may apply and are assessed as follows:

  • 11 business days (or more) prior to the start date of the class, no charge
  • 6-10 business days prior to the start of the class: 50% of the class fees
  • Less than 6 business days prior to the start of the class: 100% of the class fees

Logistics/Miscellaneous:

On which version of TeamSite are classes taught?
Public classes are taught using the latest released versions of the product. Onsite classes can be taught on older versions upon request.

How many students can be taught in a single class?
We recommend class sizes be limited to a maximum of 12 students per class, unless otherwise stated in the course description. Teaching more than 12 students reduces individual attention as well as the opportunity for question/answer exchanges. In exceptional circumstances (and for selected classes), it may be possible to add up to 3 additional students for an additional cost. We regret that class sizes beyond 15 students are not available.

Are class hours flexible?
Absolutely. Keep in mind that course days generally run a full 8 hours and are typically delivered 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. For onsite classes, we can begin earlier or finish later as desired.

Rescheduling / Cancellation Policy:
